Drishyam 3 races into the ₹200-crore India club
Drishyam 3: The Conclusion crossed ₹201.70 crore in India net collections by early Day 5, making it the fastest film in the Drishyam franchise to reach the ₹200-crore mark. The day was still being counted, with ₹4.20 crore added so far across 7,433 shows.
Before Day 5 began, the film had already collected ₹197.50 crore net in India over the first four days.
- Day 1: ₹62.00 crore
- Day 2: ₹53.50 crore
- Day 3: ₹61.00 crore
- Day 4: ₹21.00 crore
- Day 5 (live): ₹4.20 crore added so far
India gross for the film now stands at ₹241.96 crore.
Why the pace matters
The first real weekday drop came on Day 4, but the film stayed ahead of where it needed to be. Clearing ₹200 crore in India this quickly shows the Vijay Salgaonkar story still carries event-film energy for Hindi audiences, even in its third chapter.
The 2015 original and the 2022 sequel built the franchise, and the third chapter returns to the same tension: protecting family while facing the law and a trail of evidence.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film returns Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutta to the franchise, with Prakash Raj and Jaideep Ahlawat joining in new roles. It was cleared by the CBFC with a U/A 16+ certificate, reportedly without cuts, and runs about 150 minutes.
Overseas and worldwide totals
Worldwide gross crossed ₹303 crore after four days. The overseas gross reached ₹66 crore, with ₹18.50 crore on Day 1, ₹20 crore each on Day 2 and Day 3, and ₹5 crore on Day 4. Domestic gross stood at ₹237 crore after the same period.
What to watch next
The film’s next targets are ₹225 crore and then ₹250 crore in India net collections. That will depend on how well it holds through the weekdays and how strongly it performs in the second weekend. For now, the franchise has cleared its most important milestone in record time.
