Drishyam 3 First Week Worldwide Gross: Rs 383.60 Crore

Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion, directed by Abhishek Pathak, has ended its first week with a worldwide gross of Rs 383.60 crore. The total puts the suspense thriller within a single strong weekend of the Rs 400 crore mark.

Day 7 keeps the film on track

Thursday added an estimated Rs 13 crore net in India across 15,758 shows. That is a 16.1% decline from Wednesday’s Rs 15.50 crore, a normal cooling after a big opening weekend. Overall Hindi 2D occupancy was 16.46%, with night shows leading at 25.31%.

The day recorded 613,328 footfalls, taking the cumulative total to 10,117,404.

First week at a glance

  • India net: Rs 245.50 crore
  • Domestic gross: Rs 294.60 crore
  • Overseas gross: Rs 89 crore
  • Worldwide gross: Rs 383.60 crore

Net and gross, quickly

India net is what a film earns from ticket sales after entertainment tax is deducted; gross is the bigger number collected before that deduction. That is why the domestic gross of Rs 294.60 crore sits above the India net of Rs 245.50 crore. For a franchise finale, the more relevant figure this week is the worldwide gross: Rs 383.60 crore.

Why the Rs 400 crore milestone matters

The film opened with Rs 62 crore on Friday, then held at Rs 53.50 crore on Saturday and Rs 61 crore on Sunday. That opening weekend accounts for Rs 176.50 crore of the first-week India net. The Monday-to-Thursday slide is the usual post-weekend decay, not a collapse, and the film has already banked enough to make the next milestone feel close: it needs roughly Rs 16.40 crore more worldwide to touch Rs 400 crore.

For fans, the takeaway is simple: the third Drishyam is not limping toward the mark, it is walking into it with momentum.

What to watch over the weekend

In the film, Vijay Salgaonkar’s carefully built safety comes under fresh threat as Meera Deshmukh returns for revenge and a new Crime Branch officer begins testing his alibis. The cat-and-mouse tension is clearly playing well in evening and night shows, where occupancy is almost three times the morning figure.
