Salman Khan’s 10-video YouTube channel teaches his signature swag
Salman Khan's new YouTube channel turns his screen mannerisms into playful A-to-Z lessons, with 10 videos since its September 22 launch.

Salman Khan has turned one of Bollywood’s most recognisable screen personalities into a YouTube channel. Called Being The Salman Khan, it launched on September 22 and has 10 videos so far. Instead of another celebrity vlog, it presents the star’s famous body language, dialogue delivery and mannerisms as a step-by-step course.
A classroom with two Salmans
The format is playful on purpose. A coach version of Salman Khan guides a novice student version through the gestures and line readings that define his screen image. The result is less a documentary about his life and more a series of short lessons in the performance style audiences recognise instantly.
Salman shared the channel’s link on Instagram on Friday with a short invitation: ‘Shuru se shuru karte hain’ — let’s start from the beginning. The channel promises everything from A to Z, according to the actor.
An extension of an existing digital footprint
This is not his first YouTube presence. Salman started Salman Khan Films Music in 2020, a channel with nearly 3 million subscribers that carries songs from his films and independent releases. During the pandemic he also experimented with singing, releasing Pyaar Karona and Tere Bina. The new channel offers a structured, slightly self-aware study of his own image.
Where it sits in Bollywood’s YouTube wave
Salman is the latest star to treat YouTube as a direct line to fans. Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Kartik Aaryan, Nora Fatehi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Farah Khan run official channels, while Allu Arjun and Mohanlal do the same in the southern industries. What sets Being The Salman Khan apart is the lesson format, not just vlogs or travel diaries.
- Coach vs student: two versions of Salman, one teaching and one learning
- 10 videos: uploaded since the September 22 launch
- A to Z: body language, dialogue delivery and screen mannerisms
- Legacy channel: Salman Khan Films Music has nearly 3 million subscribers
What creators can borrow
For any creator or brand manager, this is a reminder that an established persona can be a content engine. The channel’s hook — a recognisable style turned into a repeatable lesson — gives viewers a reason to return. That is a stronger brief than filming more behind-the-scenes footage without a format.
What is next for Salman Khan
Off YouTube, Salman continues to host Bigg Boss 20, his 15th season with the reality show. On the film front, he has Maatrubhumi, earlier titled Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia and co-starring Chitrangda Singh. Its revised release date is yet to be announced.
For fans, the channel is a way to study the star’s moves. For the industry, it is another sign that celebrity itself has become a content format.
