Kangana Ranaut Prays at Ayodhya Ram Temple, Calls Trip Privilege
Kangana Ranaut visited the Ram Temple in Ayodhya in traditional silk, called the darshan a privilege, and has moved Delhi High Court over persona misuse.

Kangana Ranaut’s latest public moment moves between two very different spaces: the sanctum of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the Delhi High Court. The actor-politician shared photographs from her darshan this week, while a separate legal plea shows how carefully she is now watching over her name and image.
A darshan in Ayodhya
Kangana visited the Ram Temple and gave her followers a glimpse on Instagram. The opening frame shows her with folded hands before the idol of Ram Lalla. Later pictures show her praying inside the complex, and in one frame a priest applies tika to her forehead as devotees gather around.
Her temple look was traditional. An off-white and green silk saree with gold motifs was paired with a bright pink-red blouse, classic gold jewellery and white flowers in her hair. She captioned the post, “Jai Shri Ram. Jai Ayodhya Dham.”
“Coming to the holy land of Ayodhya is always a great privilege,” she told ANI. She added that the sprawling complex deserves a full day with family to feel “completely satisfied.”
Why the visit resonates
Celebrity temple visits have become a familiar visual in Bollywood coverage: the star steps out of a film frame and into a devotional one. For Kangana’s fans, the Ayodhya post works as a blend of personal faith and camera-ready styling, with every detail from the silk to the flowers making the pictures easy to share.
The setting also carries weight. The Ram Temple complex is now a major cultural landmark, which turns a simple temple check-in into a larger public moment.
A parallel legal fight
Beyond the temple, Kangana is asking the Delhi High Court to protect her personality and publicity rights. The plea seeks to stop commercial use of her name, image and likeness without permission. Her counsel has also raised fake news and AI-generated content allegedly tied to her.
- Seeks protection for her name, image, likeness and other aspects of her identity.
- Wants to stop commercial exploitation of her persona without permission.
- Has raised fake news and AI-generated content in court.
- The Delhi High Court has issued summons in the matter.
In legal terms, personality rights let a person control how their identity is used commercially. That protection is becoming harder to police as AI tools make it easier to produce convincing lookalike and voice content. For a star like Kangana, the temple visit and the court plea are both about her public image—one devotional, one defensive.
