Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 gets March 5, 2027 release date
Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 moves to March 5, 2027 after its August 2026 date. Anupam Kher, Boman Irani return; Ravi Kishan joins the cast.

Mark the new date: March 5, 2027
The Khoslas are still coming, just a few months later than promised. The makers of Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 have announced that the sequel will now arrive on March 5, 2027, moving from its earlier August 28, 2026 slot. A new poster was shared along with the line: “Deal sealed! The Khoslas are ready to take possession of cinemas…”
The updated plan comes as filming continues across Delhi and nearby locations. The extra months give the production room to finish the sequel without rushing toward the earlier date.
Returning faces and two new entrants
Dibakar Banerjee’s 2006 comedy won fans through its characters, and the sequel is leaning on that goodwill. It brings back:
- Anupam Kher as Kamal Kishore Khosla
- Boman Irani as property dealer Khurana
- Tara Sharma, Ranvir Shorey, Kiran Juneja and Parvin Dabas in returning roles
- Ravi Kishan and Divya Khosla Kumar as the new additions
Boman Irani’s absence from early filming had sparked questions about whether Khurana would return. The makers’ announcement and the new poster put those doubts to rest.
Ravi Kishan addressed the speculation directly: “Everyone is there. I am not replacing him. Mine is a new character.” Speaking to Hindustan Times, he added that the script is amazing and promised fans “a very different avatar.”
Why a longer wait matters
The original Khosla Ka Ghosla released on September 22, 2006, and followed a middle-class Delhi family fighting to recover a plot of land from a powerful dealer. It worked because it felt small and real, mixing family arguments, planning and humour, and it built a loyal following over the years.
Scheduling a sequel more than two decades later carries a different kind of risk. The gap means nostalgia can fill seats, but audiences will also compare every frame to a film they have had years to love. A date change is not a creative verdict, but it does signal that the production is not rushing the Khoslas back.
For fans, the to-do is practical: replace the August 2026 reminder with March 5, 2027, and keep expectations grounded. The original earned its place because it stayed close to its characters, not because it overreached.
