Hanuman Ansh Crosses Rs 438 Crore Worldwide on Day 68
Vishal Chaturvedi's devotional drama keeps its blockbuster run going on Day 68, adding Rs 1.30 crore net as worldwide gross reaches Rs 438.40 crore.

Vishal Chaturvedi’s ‘Hanuman Ansh’ is still finding new audiences nearly ten weeks after its Hindi release. On Tuesday, October 13, the devotional drama collected Rs 1.30 crore net in India on Day 68, a 4% rise over Monday’s Rs 1.25 crore. With that, its worldwide gross has climbed to Rs 438.40 crore.
A two-language boost
The latest day played across 2,951 shows in Hindi and Telugu, drawing 134,624 footfalls at an overall occupancy of 17.2%. The older Hindi version contributed Rs 55 lakh from 1,812 shows, while the Telugu version delivered Rs 75 lakh from 1,139 shows on only its fifth day.
That gap is the story. The Telugu release arrived on October 9 and recorded 19% occupancy on Tuesday, compared with 16% for the Hindi version, which has been running since August 7, 2026. The southern leg is already giving the film a second wind.
The slow burn behind the blockbuster
Sacnilk’s overall verdict remains blockbuster, and the weekly trail shows why. The film opened modestly before word of mouth kicked in.
- Week 1: Rs 1.08 crore
- Week 2: Rs 40 lakh
- Week 3: Rs 10.40 crore
- Week 4: Rs 61 crore
- Week 5: Rs 90.25 crore (peak)
- Week 6: Rs 80.25 crore
- Week 7: Rs 44.80 crore
- Week 8: Rs 29.20 crore
- Week 9: Rs 10.60 crore
- Week 10 so far: Rs 1.20 crore on Friday to Rs 1.30 crore on Tuesday
In cumulative terms, the film’s India net collection is Rs 337.03 crore and its domestic gross is Rs 397.80 crore. Overseas earnings stand at Rs 40.60 crore after adding Rs 10 lakh on Tuesday.
What to make of it
Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ is adapted from his book ‘Divine Detour: That Changed My Life’ and follows the spiritual journey of Neem Karoli Baba, a devotee of Lord Hanuman. It is not a star vehicle; it is a faith-driven film that has held theatres through legs rather than a front-loaded opening.
For anyone tracking the run, the immediate question is how long the Telugu version can sustain its early momentum. With the Hindi circuit now in its tenth week, the Telugu shows may decide whether the film closes in on the next milestone.
