Drishyam 3 Crosses Rs 515 cr Worldwide on Day 14

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is now in its second week, and the box office story has shifted from opening fireworks to weekday endurance. On Thursday, October 15, the Ajay Devgn starrer added Rs 4.25 crore net in India, according to Sacnilk.

That took the film’s India net total to Rs 333 crore. Domestic gross stood at Rs 399.05 crore, while the worldwide gross is now Rs 515.05 crore with Rs 116 crore from overseas.

Day 14 collection and occupancy

The Thursday figure was down about 19% from Wednesday’s Rs 5.25 crore, a normal mid-week cool-off. Sacnilk reported 10,809 shows and 228,874 footfalls on Day 14, bringing the two-week footfall count to 14,157,287.

Overall Hindi 2D occupancy came in at 11.17%. The day moved as screenings do:

  • Morning shows: 5.75% occupancy
  • Afternoon shows: 10.58% occupancy
  • Evening shows: 12.08% occupancy
  • Night shows: 16.25% occupancy

That evening-to-night lift shows the film is still pulling audiences when the working day ends, even if total occupancy remains modest on a school and office day.

Second week, steadier rhythm

Drishyam 3 opened with Rs 62 crore on October 2, followed by Rs 53.50 crore on Saturday and Rs 61 crore on Sunday. The first weekend closed at Rs 176.50 crore, and Week 1 ended at Rs 245.50 crore.

Week 2 has followed the familiar franchise pattern: a softer Friday, a weekend bounce, then slimmer weekdays. After Rs 14.50 crore on second Friday, the film collected Rs 26.50 crore on Saturday and Rs 22.50 crore on Sunday. Monday brought Rs 6 crore, Tuesday Rs 8.50 crore, Wednesday Rs 5.25 crore, and Thursday Rs 4.25 crore, putting Week 2 at Rs 87.50 crore.

For fans, the meaningful number is the worldwide gross crossing Rs 515 crore, a sign the film is still earning across domestic and overseas markets even as daily India net falls.

The story keeping audiences hooked

The plot returns to Vijay Salgaonkar years after he evaded the law. Meera Deshmukh comes back driven by revenge, and a new Crime Branch officer challenges his carefully built alibis. That renewed pressure on Vijay to protect his family is exactly the kind of hook that keeps a mystery thriller in conversations beyond opening weekend.

Why it matters for Bollywood fans

The Vijay Salgaonkar saga is no longer a single-weekend event. A 14-day worldwide gross of Rs 515.05 crore tells a larger story about star-led Hindi thrillers holding their ground after the initial rush. The 19% weekday decline may look sharp on paper, but it follows weekend highs and lower weekday show counts, not a collapse.

The outlook now depends on the third Friday hold. If the film stabilises rather than sliding further, it has room to add meaningfully over the next weekend.
