Tiger Shroff firing: 3 accused get 48-hour transit remand

Three men accused of firing at Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai’s Juhu area are now on their way to Mumbai after a court in Kota, Rajasthan, granted the police 48-hour transit remand on Monday.

The arrests were made the same day in a joint operation by Rajasthan Police and Mumbai Police. Police said the accused were caught while travelling on a train.

  • Three accused arrested in Kota on Monday
  • 48-hour transit remand granted to Mumbai Police
  • Driver hurt; Tiger Shroff escaped direct gunshot injuries
  • Case filed under BNS and the Arms Act

What happened in Juhu

The firing took place around 7 pm on Sunday, when Tiger Shroff was leaving a football club in Juhu. According to the police, the accused fired at the actor’s car. Tiger escaped direct gunshot injuries, but his driver was hurt in the incident.

Arrest and handover in Kota

The suspected shooters were produced before a judge in Kota, after being taken under security to the judge’s residence. The Rajasthan Police then escorted them to MBS Hospital for medical examinations.

Kota ASP Subhash Chandra Mishra explained the sequence after the medical checks:

“They (accused) were handed over to the Mumbai Police.”

He added that the Mumbai Police obtained the transit remand, had the accused medically examined, and were taking them away.

What transit remand means

Transit remand allows police from one state to take an accused person to another state for investigation. Here, it gives Mumbai Police the legal window to bring the three men from Kota to Mumbai.

The case so far

A case has been registered under Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with Sections 3 and 25 of the Arms Act. Further investigation is underway.

The arrests came a day after the Juhu firing, following a joint operation by Rajasthan Police and Mumbai Police. That kind of cross-state coordination is often what makes early arrests possible when the accused are caught in transit.

Why this matters

It is a serious reminder of the security risks that come with a high-profile public life. While Tiger Shroff avoided direct injury, the incident has left his driver hurt and will keep the actor in headlines for all the wrong reasons. For fans, the next update will likely come from Mumbai as the police continue their investigation.

Tiger Shroff recently in Baaghi 4

Tiger was last seen in Baaghi 4, which released on 5 September 2026. The film also starred Sanjay Dutt, Harnaaz Sandhu and Sonam Bajwa.
