Drishyam 3 crosses Rs 564.95 crore worldwide after day 22

Day 22 at a glance

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is still collecting, but the fourth-weekend surge has not begun. On Friday, October 23, the crime thriller added Rs 1.40 crore in India net collection. That is a 33.3% drop from Thursday’s Rs 2.10 crore.

According to Sacnilk, the Hindi 2D version played across 2,322 shows and sold an estimated 67,215 tickets. Overall occupancy was 19.85%, but the day built like a classic night-out movie: 7.50% in the morning, 17.42% in the afternoon, 22.75% in the evening and 31.75% for night shows.

The running total

After 22 days, the film’s India net collection has reached Rs 363.25 crore. Domestic gross is Rs 435.20 crore. Overseas business added Rs 25 lakh on Friday, pushing the international gross to Rs 129.75 crore.

Add domestic and overseas gross and the worldwide total now stands at Rs 564.95 crore. Estimated footfalls across the theatrical run have touched 15,645,119.

  • Week 1: Rs 245.50 crore
  • Week 2: Rs 87.50 crore
  • Week 3: Rs 28.85 crore

Why the night-show jump matters

For fans, the occupancy curve tells the real story. Mornings at 7.50% and nights at 31.75% mean this is rarely a casual afternoon ticket. It is a planned outing, likely with a group, and that changes how we read a 33% Friday drop.

A front-loaded blockbuster would depend on full weekends everywhere. Drishyam 3 has already done its heavy lifting in the first week. Right now, the question is not whether it can open big, but whether it can keep holding evening and night audiences as the fourth weekend arrives.

What the film is holding onto

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion follows Vijay Salgaonkar years after he slipped past the law. Meera Deshmukh returns with revenge on her mind, while a powerful new Crime Branch officer starts testing his carefully built alibis. It is a distinct story from the Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph Drishyam 3, so both versions are drawing separate conversations.

Watch the fourth weekend’s night-show numbers. A strong Saturday and Sunday would show the audience is still showing up; a flat weekend would signal that the run is cooling into its final phase.
