Drishyam 3 Day 32 Dips 68.6%; Global Gross Hits Rs 585 Crore

Ajay Devgn's franchise finale collects an estimated Rs 55 lakh on Day 32, down 68.6% from Day 31, as worldwide gross crosses Rs 585 crore.

Drishyam 3 dips 68.6% on Day 32 but global gross hits Rs 585 cr

Drishyam 3 may be running on fumes in its fifth week, but its headline numbers still tell a profitable story. The Ajay Devgn thriller, also billed as Drishyam: The Conclusion, collected an estimated Rs 55 lakh net on Day 32, according to Sacnilk.

The fifth Monday slide

That Monday figure is a 68.6 per cent dip from the Rs 1.75 crore it earned on Day 31. The film had enjoyed a slight uptick through its fifth weekend, but weekday audiences have thinned again as the theatrical run enters its final lap. It is still playing in 3,026 shows across India.

Where the totals stand

The film opened with Rs 62 crore net on day one and has now stacked up Rs 377.90 crore net in India, with a domestic gross of Rs 452.59 crore. Worldwide gross is estimated at Rs 585.49 crore, pushing it past several international benchmarks.

  • Day 32 India net: Rs 55 lakh (estimated)
  • Day 31 to Day 32 drop: 68.6%
  • India net total: Rs 377.90 crore
  • Worldwide gross: Rs 585.49 crore
  • Production cost: around Rs 110 crore

A profitable farewell

Even with weekdays cooling, the franchise finale is comfortably ahead on the money side. According to figures reported by Bollywood Movie Reviewz, the film cost around Rs 110 crore, including production and marketing expenses. The worldwide gross is now more than five times that investment. For context, Drishyam 2 was reportedly made for Rs 90 crore plus Rs 60 crore in salaries, while the first film cost around Rs 65 crore.

Why fans are still turning up

The story gives the audience a reason to stay invested. Vijay Salgaonkar walked free years ago, but his past returns with Meera Deshmukh, who is no longer after court-sanctioned justice—she wants revenge. A tough new Crime Branch officer complicates Vijay’s carefully built alibis, forcing him to outsmart the system once more to protect his family.

That emotional pull has kept the film in front of loyal franchise viewers, even if the pace is understandably slowing. With the Ramayana release on the horizon, show counts are likely to face more pressure in the coming days. If you still want to catch the big-screen ending, this may be the right week to buy the ticket.
