The long-awaited trailer of Adipurush has finally dropped and it is nothing short of grandeur. Featuring the star cast of Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, the film recreates the tale of Ramayana in a visually spectacular way. The trailer was launched simultaneously across 70 countries, making it a global event.
Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush showcases the journey of Raghav, who is banished to spend 14 years in the jungle after being shunned away by his step-mother Kaikeyi. Kriti Sanon portrays the role of Raghav’s wife Janaki while Sunny Singh plays the role of his obedient brother, Laxman. The loyal follower Hanuman (Bajrangi) is played by Devdatta Gajanan Nage and Saif Ali Khan portrays the antagonist, Lankeshwar.
The trailer gives glimpses of the epic war of Ramayana and the battle between Ram and Ravana to save Sita from his clutches. The visuals are stunning and the action sequences are breathtaking, making it one of the most anticipated films of 2023.
Adipurush is all set to make its international premiere at the Tribeca Festival in New York and is produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. The film is scheduled to release worldwide on June 16, 2023, and is bound to create history with its retelling of Ramayana on the big screen.
