The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has mandated alterations to the upcoming romantic drama “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,” specifically targeting a sex scene involving Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. The CBFC reportedly reduced the intimate scene’s duration by 25%, censoring nine seconds, resulting in a revised length of 27 seconds from its original 36 seconds. Additionally, the film saw an ‘audio medication,’ and the term ‘daru (alcohol)’ was substituted with ‘drink’ in the latter half.
Further modifications include the inclusion of a larger and more readable Hindi anti-smoking static message, as instructed by the CBFC. Post these adjustments, the film received a U/A certificate on February 2, with a total runtime of 143.15 minutes (2 hours, 23 minutes, and 15 seconds), according to the censor certificate.
