Bollywood actress Daisy Shah is making headlines for her upcoming short film, The Elephant In The Room, which focuses on the celebrations of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. The film features Daisy in the lead role, but she has remained tight-lipped about the details of the project. In a recent chat with Free Press Journal, she revealed, “Our film is actually based on Ganpati Bappa. Hence, it’s called The Elephant In The Room. We will be showcasing the celebrations of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival also. I cannot reveal much about my role, but I am the protagonist.”
The actress also mentioned that the short film might turn into a series format and that there has been a delay in its release due to ongoing talks. Daisy Shah, who is a believer in energy in the universe, rather than a specific form or face of God, expressed her excitement about the film’s Ganeshotsav connection.
Apart from the short film, Daisy also has a feature film titled Mystery of Tattoo in the pipeline, which is a murder mystery shot in London. The film’s post-production is currently underway, and its VFX has already been completed in London itself.
The actress, who is also a contestant on the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 hosted by Rohit Shetty, has a busy schedule with multiple projects lined up for the future.
