The highly anticipated 23rd edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards is set to take place on May 26 and 27 at the enchanting Yas Islands in Abu Dhabi. With an impressive number of tickets already sold, this year’s event is expected to be one of the grandest film extravaganzas on a global scale.
A staggering total of 25,000 attendees are anticipated, with 11,000 people expected to grace the Sobha Realty IIFA Rocks on May 26, followed by 14,000 attendees at the NEXA IIFA Awards on May 27. This remarkable turnout reflects the immense popularity and excitement surrounding the IIFA Awards.
Over 120 celebrities from across the globe are set to grace the event, accompanied by a media delegation of more than 240. Among the Bollywood actors attending are superstars Salman Khan, Kamal Haasan, Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Varun Dhawan, Rajkummar Rao, Vicky Kaushal, and Fardeen Khan. The star-studded list of actresses includes Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rakul Preet Singh, Dia Mirza, Nora Fatehi, Mrunal Thakur, Mouni Roy, and Genelia D’Souza, who will be accompanied by her husband, Riteish Deshmukh.
This year’s edition promises scintillating performances by Salman Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nora Fatehi, Rakul Preet Singh, and Iulia Vantur. Notably, Nora Fatehi’s performance will make her the only Bollywood personality to have performed twice at the IIFA Awards throughout the years.
