Kriti Sanon turned heads at the Adipurush trailer launch in Mumbai with her stunning ensemble. The actress, who plays the role of Goddess Sita in the much-awaited mythological drama, donned a unique saree that featured a 24-carat gold Khadi print and emeralds. The saree was designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, who shared a breakdown of Kriti’s gorgeous look on social media.
According to the designers, the ensemble was all about using pure fabrics that embody the purity of Sita. Kriti embodied the character to perfection with her kind soul, loving heart, and strong mind. She spoke about pouring her heart and soul into the role and learning more about the character while shooting for the movie.
The Adipurush trailer was screened exclusively for Prabhas‘ fans in Hyderabad before the Mumbai event. The film, which is based on the epic Ramayana, will be released on June 16 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. With Prabhas playing the role of Lord Ram and Kriti Sanon as Goddess Sita, fans can expect a visual treat and an emotional journey through the epic tale.
