Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha‘s engagement photos have been unveiled, offering a closer look into their “surreal” ceremony held in Delhi. Parineeti has now shared more pictures from their special day, along with a heartfelt note describing their intimate ceremony, which followed Sikh customs.
The candid photos depict Parineeti with her hair covered by a lace dupatta, participating in the traditional engagement ceremony. In one picture, her face is not visible as she respectfully greets the religious leader overseeing the ceremony. Raghav, beaming with joy, joins her with folded hands, also having his hair covered according to Sikh tradition.
The subsequent photos capture the couple’s happiness during the engagement ceremony, which took place in a spacious hall with white walls and vibrant glass windows. In one image, Parineeti’s father, Pawan Chopra, can be seen shedding tears in the background while seated behind the couple. In another, Parineeti and Raghav sit before a gathering of family, friends, and guests, praying with folded hands. Raghav’s eyes are closed in one picture, while Parineeti prays with closed eyes in another.
Sharing the photos, Parineeti expressed her gratitude for the presence of Singh Sahib Giani Harpreet Singh Ji, the Jathedar of the Akal Takht Sahib, at their engagement ceremony. She described his sacred presence as everything to them. Parineeti’s brother, Shivang Chopra, commented, highlighting their emotional father in the background.
Parineeti wore a white kurta with a matching dupatta designed by Manish Malhotra for the engagement, while Raghav opted for an achkan from Delhi-based designer Pawan Sachdev, who is also his uncle. Following the engagement, the couple greeted the paparazzi and posed for photographs, marking their first public appearance as an engaged couple. Parineeti’s cousin, Priyanka Chopra, who arrived in Delhi on the same day, was also present at the engagement and shared photos from the celebration on Instagram.
