Priyanka Chopra Jonas credits her family’s support for work-life balance and parenting

Priyanka Chopra Jonas credits her family for supporting her work and parenting duties. In a recent interview, the actress shared how her mother and mother-in-law take care of her daughter, Malti, when she is away for work. Priyanka revealed that this support allows her and her husband, Nick Jonas, to concentrate on their careers. The birth of Malti caused Priyanka to re-evaluate her priorities in life, and she took a year off from work to focus on parenting. The actress further mentioned that she cannot leave for work unless someone from the family is present with Malti.

Priyanka expressed her gratitude towards her family, particularly her mother-in-law, who loves taking care of Malti. The actress acknowledged the tremendous support she and her husband receive from both their mothers, which enables them to balance their careers and parenting duties.

Priyanka and Nick had revealed last year that Malti was born through surrogacy, but they chose not to reveal her face for an entire year. However, earlier this year, Malti made her debut public appearance when she accompanied Priyanka to the Jonas Brothers’ Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

Apart from parenting, Priyanka is also busy with her career. She is receiving rave reviews for her Amazon Prime series, Citadel, and has Heads of State and Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in her pipeline. Priyanka is an inspiration to many women who aspire to balance their personal and professional lives.
