The upcoming Bollywood film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ has been making headlines for quite some time now. The project, which features an ensemble cast including Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, is being helmed by Farhan Akhtar. The film was announced in 2021, but it was put on hold after Priyanka and Alia announced their pregnancy.
Recently, during the promotion of their upcoming spy series ‘Citadel’ in Mumbai, Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden were asked about the possibility of the hunk playing the male lead in ‘Jee Le Zaraa’. Without any hesitation, Richard expressed his excitement and said, “Absolutely! I’m available. I can just start working really hard now, be ready in 9 months, 12 months, 2 years.”
Priyanka, who was thrilled to hear Richard’s response, added, “Yeah, he probably will actually! Knowing him, he’ll probably learn the language and come and teach me new words.” Richard Madden, who has previously donned a kurta and dhoti for a wedding sequence in Marvel’s ‘Eternals’, expressed his desire to visit India more often.
The film is expected to go on floors next year, and fans are eagerly waiting to see the trio of Priyanka, Alia and Katrina share the screen. Rumours have also been circulating about a possible cameo by Shah Rukh Khan in the film. ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ is definitely a project to look forward to in the coming years.
