Saif Ali Khan’s absence during the promotional activities for the upcoming movie Adipurush has been confirmed. The actor, who plays the role of Lankesh inspired by the character of Ravana in the film, will not be available for the promotions which are set to begin in May. According to sources, the promotions will focus mainly on Prabhas, who plays the lead character of Rama in the movie.
Saif, who has been in the news for his controversial comments in the past, will reportedly be on vacation with his wife Kareena and their two sons during the promotional period. It is unclear whether Saif’s absence is a planned strategy to avoid any controversial questions regarding his character or not.
Meanwhile, the new VFX of Adipurush has been appreciated by those who have seen it, and the team is hopeful that the audience will have a similar reaction once the film releases. Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush also stars Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, and others. The film is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana and is set to release in theatres on August 11, 2022.
