Superstar Salman Khan is expanding his business ventures into the world of real estate with plans to construct an impressive 19-storey hotel in Mumbai. The hotel, situated at Carter Road in Bandra and facing the sea, has received approval from the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) and construction is set to commence soon.
The plot, formerly occupied by a residential society called Starlet, will see the existing building demolished to make way for the grand hotel. The planned structure includes three levels of basements, with the first and second floors dedicated to a café and restaurant. The third floor will house a gymnasium and swimming pool, while the fourth floor will serve as a service area. The fifth and sixth floors will feature a convention center, and the hotel rooms will be located from the 7th to the 19th floors.
Of note, the hotel’s location is just 200 meters away from the residence of fellow superstar Aamir Khan, adding an interesting dynamic to the neighborhood.
Initially, Salman Khan and his family had intended to redevelop the property as a residential building, but plans were later changed. The proposal, submitted more than a year ago, was in the name of Salman Khan’s mother, Salma Khan, who owns the property.
While Salman continues to captivate audiences on the big screen, with recent releases like “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,” he is also expanding his entrepreneurial ventures. Fans eagerly await his upcoming film “Tiger 3,” scheduled for a Diwali 2023 release. Notably, Salman recently filmed a special scene with Shah Rukh Khan for the movie “Pathaan” (2023), further heightening the anticipation among moviegoers.
With his foray into the hospitality industry, Salman Khan continues to make waves beyond his acting prowess, solidifying his presence as a multifaceted and successful Bollywood personality.
