Bollywood starlets Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan have been making headlines for their recent comments on earning respect in the industry. While Janhvi expressed her desire to earn respect from people for her performances, Sara had a different take on the matter.
During a recent interview with Siddharth Kanan, Sara said that she believes that if people accept her for who she is, that’s the biggest sign of respect. She further added that she didn’t face any issues with respect early on in her career, whether it was for her performances in ‘Kedarnath’ or ‘Atrangi Re’.
This is in contrast to Janhvi’s recent comments where she had mentioned struggling to earn respect despite getting many opportunities in the industry. However, it’s important to note that both actors have unique journeys and perspectives on their experiences in Bollywood.
On the work front, Sara has been making waves with her recent projects. Her upcoming film ‘Gaslight’ with Vikrant Massey and Chitrangda Singh is a murder mystery set to release on OTT. Sara plays a specially-abled girl in the movie, showcasing her versatility as an actor. She also has Laxman Utekar’s upcoming film with Vicky Kaushal in the pipeline.
As two of Bollywood’s most promising young actors, it’s great to see them express their opinions and experiences in such an open manner. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next.
