Kashmir’s silver screens are set to shine once again as the region welcomes the opening of two new Multipurpose Cinema Halls in Baramulla and Handwara. In a momentous occasion, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated these theatres, marking a significant step forward for the entertainment industry in the region. Managed by Jadooz, these 100-seater theatres boast modern facilities, including cafes, conference, and seminar spaces.
Adding to the excitement, it has been revealed that the much-anticipated blockbuster, Pathaan (2023), starring the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, will be the first film to grace these screens. Fans can look forward to experiencing the magic of Pathaan in these newly opened theatres, which were once a cherished part of the community.
Pathaan, also featuring the dynamic duo of Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, created waves at the box office, becoming the highest-grossing Bollywood film ever, earning over Rs. 500 crores domestically and nearly Rs. 1000 crores worldwide.
