Actress Siayami Kher and Angad Bedi, who will be seen playing each other’s love interest in R. Balki’s upcoming sports film ‘Ghoomer’, share a common love for fitness and sports. Both actors bonded over their passion for cricket on the sets of the film, where Siayami revealed that she befriended Angad over a decade ago because she wanted someone to play cricket with in Bombay.
Siayami has a background in sports, having played cricket at the school level for Maharashtra and being selected for the National team. Although she opted for the badminton state championships, she is also skilled in sprinting, swimming, and mountaineering. Talking about their shared interests, Siayami mentioned that discussing sports with Angad is a different joy since they are both fitness freaks.
‘Ghoomer’ is a sports film inspired by the story of Karoly Takacs, a late Hungarian right-hand shooter who won two Olympic gold medals with his left hand after his other hand was seriously injured. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles and is currently in its post-production stage.
