Suniel Shetty, Bollywood actor and father-in-law of cricketer KL Rahul, recently spoke about Rahul’s current low phase in his cricketing career. In an interview, the actor revealed that they don’t discuss failure as a family and instead try to show more love and talk about everything else in the world to take their minds off it.
Shetty also emphasized that he cannot teach Rahul how to play cricket, as he is playing for the country and not for someone to comment on how to play. He also stated that this is just a phase for Rahul and it will pass, as he can see a young boy willing to stand up and work hard.
The actor went on to say that in cricket, at the end of the day, the bat will do the talking, and that it is not like films where a team can go out together. Rahul has to go out there, face the ball, and play, and he continues to do that.
Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul got married earlier this year in an intimate ceremony after dating for almost four years. Shetty has often expressed that there is no difference between his son Ahan and Rahul, and he considers both of them his own children.
The actor’s statement shows how important it is to support and show love to our loved ones during their low phases, instead of constantly discussing their failures. It is a great reminder that success and failure are just phases and that with hard work and determination, one can overcome any obstacle.
