Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh, known for their success in Bollywood, will be presented with the esteemed ‘Outstanding Achievement in Regional Cinema’ award. The couple has not only left a lasting impact in Hindi cinema but has also ventured into Marathi cinema as producers, backing critically acclaimed films such as Balak Palak, Lai Bhaari, and Mauli. Riteish also showcased his versatility as an actor in these projects.
Celebrated fashion designer Manish Malhotra will receive the ‘Outstanding Achievement in Fashion and Cinema’ award. With a career spanning 33 years, Malhotra has revolutionized costume design in Indian cinema and set numerous fashion trends on and off the screen. His eponymous label, Manish Malhotra, has become synonymous with glamour and style.
The star-studded event will also feature captivating live performances by Bollywood luminaries such as Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rakul Preet Singh, and Nora Fatehi. The main awards will be hosted by Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal, adding to the excitement of the evening.
IIFA Rocks, a segment of the event, will showcase performances by rapper Badshah, lyricist-composer Amit Trivedi, EDM producer Nucleya, and singers Sunidhi Chauhan and Sukhbir Singh. The hosting duties for IIFA Rocks will be handled by Farah Khan and Rajkummar Rao.
