Drishyam 3 crosses Rs 480.40 crore, Devgn’s biggest global hit

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has grossed Rs 480.40 crore worldwide in 10 days, becoming 2026's second-highest Hindi film and Ajay Devgn's biggest hit.

Drishyam 3 crosses Rs 480.40 crore worldwide

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has stopped being just a strong sequel and started looking like the defining box-office story of the season. Ten days after its October 2 release, the Abhishek Pathak-directed thriller has crossed ₹480.40 crore in worldwide gross collections and has become the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2026.

The film is not merely coasting on its opening. On Day 10, it added ₹23 crore nett across 14,872 shows, taking its India nett total to ₹309.50 crore and its India gross to ₹371.40 crore. Overseas, the film picked up ₹6 crore on the same day, for a total international gross of ₹109 crore. The result is a worldwide figure that was not really in the conversation when the film opened at ₹62 crore on Day 1.

The numbers behind the milestone

  • Worldwide gross after 10 days: ₹480.40 crore
  • India gross: ₹371.40 crore
  • Overseas gross: ₹109 crore
  • Day 1 opening: ₹62 crore
  • First-week India nett: approximately ₹245 crore

Those numbers point to a genuinely healthy run. The film got a noticeable lift on its second Sunday, and the overseas share has been steady enough to keep the global total climbing. In a theatrical market where attention now shifts quickly, that second-weekend stamina is what separates a hit from a phenomenon.

Where it stands in 2026

The ₹480.40 crore haul has carried Drishyam 3 past Border 2, which stands at ₹464 crore, and past Hanuman Ansh at ₹431 crore. The only Hindi release ahead of it is Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge at ₹1,852.44 crore. The gap at the top is too large to narrow in a normal theatrical window, so the realistic title now is best of the rest — and that is still a big deal for a trilogy built on tension and moral ambiguity rather than spectacle.

Ajay Devgn’s new personal record

For the actor, the film is now the highest-grossing release of his career. It has climbed past Singham Again, which collected around ₹372 crore globally, and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, which earned around ₹369 crore. In other words, a franchise about an ordinary man who gets extraordinarily good at hiding a crime has outperformed Devgn’s larger, louder action vehicles.

The plot returns him to Vijay Salgaonkar, whose old case is reopened after it had been closed for lack of evidence. The cast includes Jaideep Ahlawat, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Tabu, Rajat Kapoor, Prakash Raj and Mrunal Jadhav. That blend of a returning core and a formidable adversary is part of why the film has sustained interest well beyond the opening weekend.

What to do before the ₹500-crore mark

The film is now within sight of a rare milestone. If the weekday numbers hold even moderately after this second Sunday, Drishyam 3 should cross the ₹500-crore global mark in the coming days. For fans, the window to experience the film with a full house is still open, and the conversation around it is only growing. The more useful question may be how far beyond ₹500 crore the film can travel once word of mouth and repeat viewing come into play.
