Power Creator Awards 2026: 25+ Categories, One Stage

The Power Creator Awards 2026 turned Mumbai into a celebration of India’s creator economy on October 23, putting actors, athletes, gamers, writers and short-form stars in one room.

Hosted by Aparshakti Khurana, the ceremony recognised work across more than 25 categories, and the winners list made it clear that digital fame now sits comfortably next to Bollywood.

Two routes to the trophy

Winners were decided in two ways: Jury Choice and Popular Choice. The jury included casting director Mukesh Chhabra, actors Gaurav Gera and Kubbra Sait, and Dhruv Chitgopekar, co-founder and partner at Collective Artists Network. Public voting decided the Popular Choice winners.

That split is familiar to film and creator awards alike, but it works especially well here because it lets a panel reward craft while the audience still gets a direct say.

Who took home the trophies

  • Icon of the Year: Ravi Kishan
  • Global Digital Storyteller of the Year: Dolly Singh, for Banter Cue with Dolly Singh
  • Sports Person of the Year: Saikhom Mirabai Chanu
  • Power Creator: The Literary Voice: Divya Dutta
  • Pop Culture Fashion Choice: Sufi Motiwala
  • Best Gaming Content – Editor’s Choice: Payal Dhare
  • Global Impact in Live Entertainment: Nayab Midha

The guest list added to the crossover energy, with names such as Orry, Madhurima Tulli, Vishal Malhotra, Ruhi Singh, Aditya Uppal, Ruhee Dosani and Saurabh Sachdeva in attendance.

Moments that outshone the trophies

Ravi Kishan’s speech turned into a room-wide singalong when the audience completed his Bigg Boss catchphrase, “Zindagi jhandwa, fir bhi ghamandwa.” Mirabai Chanu told the gathering that the expectations of 140 crore Indians feel heavier than any weight she lifts, and she named pizza as her cheat food.

Divya Dutta gave the night its most personal moment. “One fine day, I think when I lost my mom, it was the first time I thought I must write a book celebrating her,” she said, explaining how grief led to her first book.

For Hindi film fans, the evening was a reminder that the creator economy is no longer a sideshow to Bollywood. It is where filmi conversations begin, where athletes become pop-culture favourites, and where new stars are built category by category.
