YRF unveils Beparwah: Ahaan Panday, Sharvari five months out

Yash Raj Films has named its next big romantic action-drama. Beparwah, starring Ahaan Panday and Sharvari, will open worldwide on March 26, 2027. The announcement arrived with a first poster and a neat calendar detail: the title reveal lands exactly five months before the film is due in cinemas.

The poster hides the looks and sells the pairing

The first artwork doesn’t show either lead’s face. Instead, it gives fans a clear contrast to talk about: Ahaan Panday holds a gun, while Sharvari carries a guitar, all against a rough, textured backdrop. That one frame is designed to signal romance and action in a single glance.

For Ahaan, this is the next step after his acting debut in YRF’s Saiyaara, the Mohit Suri-directed musical romance opposite Aneet Padda. Beparwah puts him with Sharvari for the first time.

A director returns to the banner he knows well

Beparwah also marks Ali Abbas Zafar’s return to Yash Raj Films. His earlier work with the studio includes Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, two films built on scale and star power. Now he gets a younger pairing and a story that, from the first poster at least, looks shaped around romance as much as action.

Aditya Chopra is producing, which keeps the project inside the YRF system from top to bottom.

The supporting cast is already raising questions

Bobby Deol has reportedly joined the cast, but not as a conventional villain. In 2025, a source told Mid-Day that his character has grey shades, holds a position of authority, and that his motivations and relationship with the hero become more complex as the story moves forward. Aaishvary Thackeray, who debuted with Anurag Kashyap’s Nishaanchi, has also been linked to the project.

That suggests Beparwah’s conflicts could depend more on shifting loyalties than on simple good-versus-evil, which suits the film’s romantic-action tone.
