Ritika Singh Flags Fake Facebook Page Charging Rs 400 Monthly
Ritika Singh has warned fans about a fake Facebook page charging Rs 400 a month in her name. Here are the red flags and how to report it.

Ritika Singh has asked fans to stop paying a Facebook page that uses her name but has no connection to her. The actor says the page charges a monthly subscription of Rs 400 and has already collected money from followers who believed it was genuine.
An imposter page with a costly subscription
The actor said she came across the page recently and was startled by its subscription model. The operators reportedly run the page by asking users to pay Rs 400 every month for content. Worse, Singh said, people are actually paying.
“People are actually paying for it. The page is not verified, and they have not even spelt my name correctly,” Singh said in an Instagram video.
Two red flags stood out, in Singh’s telling: the page carries no verification badge, and it misspells her name. She said those details should be enough to make anyone pause before entering payment information.
Which account is actually Ritika Singh?
Singh clarified that her verified Instagram profile is her only official social media account. Updates posted there come directly from her. She pointed to the blue tick as the reliable signal. She also flagged a wider worry: AI-generated deepfake videos circulating in her name, which make it even harder for fans to know what is real.
What fans should check before paying
This is not just a celebrity problem. Paid subscription pages and impersonation accounts target fans because trust is easy to exploit. Before subscribing to any page that claims to represent a star:
- Check for the platform’s verification badge, usually a blue tick.
- Match the exact spelling and handle with an official account.
- Confirm the page from the celebrity’s verified profile or known team.
- Avoid paying unverified pages, no matter how active or convincing they look.
- Report suspicious accounts instead of sharing their links.
Why Singh is not sharing the link
Singh deliberately refused to share the fake page’s link. Her reason is practical: giving it attention, even as a warning, could drive more traffic to the people running the scheme. Instead, she asked followers to report the page so platforms can review it and, if the evidence supports it, take it down.
The warning lands in a moment when South and Bollywood stars alike are dealing with deepfakes and unauthorised fan accounts. The lesson for followers is the same across platforms: a blue tick, an exact name match and a link from an official profile are the basic checks that separate a star’s own page from someone collecting money in their name.
Ritika Singh first broke through with Irudhi Suttru and has since worked across Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam cinema. Her last Malayalam release was King of Kotha with Dulquer Salmaan.
