Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt celebrate first Karwa Chauth

For Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt, Thursday evening quietly became a first: their debut Karwa Chauth as a married couple. The two arrived at Anil and Sunita Kapoor’s residence, marking the festival months after their intimate July 2026 wedding.

The actor stayed with a familiar look, pairing a deep blue floral kurta with roomy harem pants. Gauri matched the festive mood in a purple brocade sharara, and the couple paused briefly for photographers before heading inside.

A night full of familiar faces

The Kapoor residence turned into a filmi gathering spot. Gauri Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Varun Dhawan, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Panday and Mira Kapoor were among the guests photographed at the celebration. Sonam Kapoor arrived in a traditional Anarkali, and Anshula Kapoor stepped out with Rohan Thakkar for what was also their first Karwa Chauth as a married couple.

Why this milestone matters

Karwa Chauth has become one of Bollywood’s most visible festival moments, with star couples photographed outside family homes year after year. For Aamir, the evening carries extra weight because the July wedding was his third marriage. He was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has actor Junaid and daughter Ira, and to filmmaker Kiran Rao, with whom he shares son Azad.

That makes this appearance more than a festive stop: it is the first real festival glimpse of the newlyweds for fans who have tracked the actor’s personal life and career.
