Drishyam 3 crosses Rs 220 crore India net on Day 6
Drishyam 3 has crossed Rs 220 crore India net on Day 6, with worldwide gross at Rs 341.90 crore. Here is what the second weekend means for the finale.

Ajay Devgn’s franchise finale has crossed the Rs 220 crore mark in India on its sixth day. By early Day 6, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion had added Rs 3.19 crore net, taking its domestic net total to Rs 220.19 crore, according to figures cited by The Times of India. India gross stood at Rs 264.16 crore, and the worldwide total had reached Rs 341.90 crore.
The day-wise shape of the run
The film’s momentum started with a Rs 62 crore opening day, followed by Rs 53.50 crore on Day 2 and Rs 61 crore on Day 3. That weekend push gave Drishyam 3 a strong cushion before the inevitable Monday drop, when collections fell to Rs 21 crore. Day 5 added Rs 19.50 crore, and the early Day 6 figure kept the film moving at a steady weekday pace.
- Day 1: Rs 62 crore net
- Day 2: Rs 53.50 crore net
- Day 3: Rs 61 crore net
- Day 4: Rs 21 crore net
- Day 5: Rs 19.50 crore net
- Day 6 (live): Rs 3.19 crore net, total Rs 220.19 crore
The film is running across 7,388 shows on Day 6, which means final figures could nudge the total higher by the end of the day.
Built-in goodwill, but no free pass
This is the closing chapter of a story audiences have followed since Drishyam arrived in 2015, then continued with Drishyam 2 in 2022. Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay Salgaonkar, the middle-class father who uses his knowledge of film tropes and human psychology to shield his family from the law. Abhishek Pathak, who directed the second instalment, returns for the finale, with Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Prakash Raj and Jaideep Ahlawat in the ensemble.
The film has a U/A 16+ certificate and a reported runtime of about 150 minutes, and it arrived with the kind of brand equity that can power a big opening. But a franchise name alone does not guarantee legs; that is why the weekday hold is being watched closely.
Why the second weekend is the real test
For a Bollywood biggie, the first weekend is often about star power and anticipation; the second weekend is about word of mouth. Drishyam 3 has already shown it can open big. The question now is whether strong reviews and the franchise’s reputation can convert first-week footfalls into repeat viewing and family audiences over the next few days.
Overseas, the film has been steadier rather than spectacular: Rs 18.50 crore on Day 1, Rs 20 crore on Day 2, Rs 20 crore on Day 3, then Rs 5 crore on Day 4 and Rs 9.50 crore on Day 5. That puts the overseas gross at Rs 81.50 crore. With the India gross at Rs 260.40 crore by the end of Day 5, the worldwide total works out to Rs 341.90 crore.
The milestones in play
If the film’s hold stays healthy, domestic net could touch Rs 250 crore, while worldwide gross could push past Rs 350 crore. The Rs 400 crore worldwide mark is further out, but it remains possible if the second weekend delivers the kind of jump the opening weekend did.
What should film fans watch for? The second-weekend trend on Saturday and Sunday. A strong Saturday bump up from the weekday lows would signal that Drishyam 3 has the legs to keep climbing; a flat second weekend would make the Rs 400 crore conversation harder to sustain.
