Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has turned its opening weekend into a statement. Released on October 2, the crime thriller crossed the Rs 150 crore domestic net mark in its first three days, according to live tracking by Sacnilk.
The speed of that total matters because it shows the Drishyam brand has not lost its pull, even as the film promises a genuine ending rather than another franchise detour.
A fast start at the box office
The finale opened with Rs 62 crore on day one from 15,759 shows, then added Rs 53.50 crore on day two from 16,868 shows. That put the two-day domestic net at Rs 115.50 crore, with worldwide gross at Rs 177.10 crore by the end of day two.

Where will the film stream?
On the streaming front, a Filmibeat report suggests Netflix is expected to be the digital home for Drishyam 3: The Conclusion after its theatrical run. The makers have not yet announced a premiere date.
If the usual 45-to-60-day theatrical-to-OTT window applies after the October 2 release, a digital premiere could land around mid-to-late November. That is only a likely window, not a confirmed plan.
The story Vijay cannot leave behind
The third film continues the story of Vijay Salgaonkar and his family as the consequences of earlier events keep following them. It blends family drama with crime and psychological suspense, asking how far a person can go to protect the people he loves. Jaideep Ahlawat’s addition brings renewed pressure into Vijay’s carefully constructed world.
Why The Conclusion had to feel final
Director Abhishek Pathak has been candid about the weight of closing the franchise. He said the title itself set a higher bar, and that the story had to take the characters somewhere conclusive. As he told Bollywood Hungama,
“It has to be a high!”
Pathak said the team revisited the first two films during writing so the details and emotional familiarity remained intact, while still making the final chapter its own version. He also pushed back on the idea of a Drishyam 4 simply to continue the brand.
What fans should do
If you want the full suspense with a crowd, the film is playing in cinemas now. If you plan to wait for streaming, hold off on setting a date until Netflix or the makers confirm it. Until then, revisiting the first two chapters is the best way to walk back into Vijay Salgaonkar’s world.
The cast brings back Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutta, with Jaideep Ahlawat joining as a key new presence alongside Rajat Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Saurabh Shukla and others.
