Mirzapur The Movie Hits Rs 334.62 Cr Worldwide After 31 Days

Pankaj Tripathi's Mirzapur The Movie completes a month in cinemas with Rs 334.62 crore worldwide gross and Rs 229.95 crore India net.

Mirzapur The Movie crosses Rs 334.62 cr worldwide in 31 days

Mirzapur The Movie has completed a full month in theatres, and the numbers show a film that is still finding its audience in cinemas rather than fading out. The worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 334.62 crore. Of that, India accounts for Rs 273.62 crore gross and overseas markets have contributed Rs 61.00 crore. The India net figure is Rs 229.95 crore, according to Sacnilk.

For a title that grew out of a streaming franchise, that is a meaningful theatrical result. Fans who already knew the characters bought tickets anyway, and the film has kept enough screens to remain in the conversation after five weekends.

A small but steady fifth weekend

Sunday, October 4, added Rs 0.15 crore net from just 67 shows, with overall occupancy at 43%. Saturday had earned Rs 13 lakh from 81 shows at 35% occupancy. Friday, October 2, collected Rs 17 lakh from 74 shows with occupancy at 44%.

The day-wise figures are modest, but the trend matters. A film that is still earning in lakhs after 31 days, with fewer shows, is holding on to some demand rather than exhausting it all in the first week.

Where the India net total came from

The opening week remains the biggest driver. Here is the week-wise India net collection:

  • Week 1: Rs 148.45 crore
  • Week 2: Rs 55.00 crore
  • Week 3: Rs 19.35 crore
  • Week 4: Rs 6.70 crore

The film has now entered its fifth week, and it has so far played across 163,543 shows in India.

The Mirzapur world returns

Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, the film continues the battle for control of Mirzapur. Pankaj Tripathi returns as Kaleen Bhaiya, Divyenndu as Munna Bhaiya and Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit. Old rivals resurface and new contenders enter the fray.

Ali Fazal acknowledged the one-month mark on Instagram. He thanked the audience and wrote, “Now go watch Drishyam 3. And other films.” The line is both a generous sign-off and a reminder that the theatrical ecosystem matters to the people making these films.

What that long tail tells us

Most Hindi releases live or die in the first ten days. Mirzapur The Movie shows a different pattern: a big opening, a steep but expected drop, and then a slow burn. In week 4, it still added Rs 6.70 crore net, a much larger figure than its current daily take and a sign that audiences are spreading out their visits.

For fans, this is the window to see it on the big screen while it is still around. The film is now playing fewer shows, so the theatre experience is becoming a limited-availability moment. If you have held off, catching it this week is the practical move.
