Prabhas Completes 50 Days of Spirit, Return Still Unclear

Prabhas has finished a substantial chunk of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit, but the timeline for his return is now the question mark fans are refreshing social media for. Roughly 50 days of his portions were wrapped nearly two months ago, yet the Mumbai leg of the film is currently proceeding without him.

Scheduling tug-of-war

After completing that block, Prabhas shifted attention to Fauzi, his other high-profile film, to close out pending portions before returning to Spirit. He had been expected to rejoin the sets in September, but two months have passed and that timeline has not materialised.

The current Spirit schedule is moving ahead in Mumbai, but the actor is not part of it. For fans, that is less a panic button than a familiar delay loop: a star juggling two major productions, with one date adjustment spilling into the other.

Why this wait feels familiar

For Hindi film fans, this is the classic two-hero-production squeeze. Indian release calendars are crowded, and a leading actor’s dates are the real scarce resource. When one film’s wrap takes longer, the other film’s schedule usually absorbs the pressure. In this case, Fauzi‘s movement is the visible clue; Spirit‘s silence is what keeps the guessing game alive.

The release-date ripple effect

Fauzi has officially vacated its December 3, 2026 slot and is now expected to arrive in 2027. That shift has immediately put Spirit‘s announced March 5, 2027 release under fan speculation, though no change has been confirmed by the makers.

• Around 50 days of Prabhas’s shoot for Spirit were completed nearly two months ago.
• Fauzi has moved out of its December 3, 2026 date and is now expected in 2027.
• Spirit remains dated March 5, 2027, with no official update yet.

That is the context fans are reading into every update: date changes are rarely just about one film. A star of Prabhas’s scale carries the calendar of multiple projects, so a single shift creates questions down the line.

What we know about Spirit

The project is backed jointly by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, with Harshavardhan Rameshwar handling the music. Vivek Oberoi is set to play the antagonist. The combination alone is enough to keep expectations high; it also means every scheduling hint becomes a talking point.

For now, the honest read is simple: nothing has officially changed in Spirit, but the silence around Prabhas’s return gives the update machine room to run. Until the makers confirm a new date or a set sighting, treat all release chatter as speculation.
