3 Arrests After Tiger Shroff Shooting; Salman Khan Security Up

Mumbai Police step up checks outside Galaxy Apartments after Tiger Shroff's car was fired at in Juhu; three suspects held in Kota.

Salman Khan's Bandra Security Up After Tiger Shroff Firing

Bandra’s Galaxy Apartments looked more like a protected zone as Mumbai Police increased their presence outside Salman Khan’s home. The heightened security follows the firing incident involving actor Tiger Shroff on Sunday evening, and it arrives amid reports of an alleged threat concerning Salman Khan and people associated with him.

What happened outside the football ground

On October 18, Tiger Shroff was leaving a football ground in Mumbai’s Juhu neighbourhood. Fans had gathered outside the venue as his vehicle moved towards the main road. As the car exited the premises, unidentified individuals allegedly opened fire.

Tiger Shroff escaped unhurt. His driver reportedly sustained injuries, and another person near the spot is also believed to have been injured.

  • The location: a football ground in Juhu, Mumbai, on Sunday evening.
  • The target: Tiger Shroff’s vehicle as it left the venue.
  • The immediate casualty: the driver, with a bystander likely hurt too.
  • The star: Tiger Shroff was not injured.

Three arrests in Kota

In a quick follow-up, three suspects were arrested in Kota, Rajasthan. The Rajasthan Police and the Anti-Gangster Task Force carried out a joint operation and apprehended the accused at Kota railway station. The suspects were reportedly travelling from Mumbai towards Delhi when they were intercepted.

Of the three people held, one is said to be from Maharashtra and two from Haryana. The investigation into the shooting is still on.

Why Bandra is on alert

Back in Mumbai, the police presence outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments has been stepped up as a precaution. Visuals shared by ANI showed officers in bulletproof jackets outside the residence and several police vehicles stationed nearby. Vehicle inspections in the surrounding area have also been increased. The deployment follows the Kota arrests and is meant to reassure residents and film personalities in the area.

For fans and residents, this means slower movement around the Bandra building and more checks. The police have not framed the extra deployment as a response to a confirmed incident at Galaxy Apartments; instead, it appears to be a precaution after the Juhu shooting and the alleged threat reports.

The larger picture

Star security in Mumbai has long been a sensitive subject, and an attack on one actor can quickly change the security posture for others, especially when names are linked through threat chatter. Salman Khan is one of the most recognisable faces in Hindi cinema, and his Bandra home is a familiar landmark for fans. The visible police presence is likely to stay until investigators get a clearer picture of the motive and the people behind the Juhu firing.

Right now, the key threads are clear: a star was targeted but escaped unhurt, three people are in custody, and the filmi neighbourhood is under a tighter watch.
