Shivaleeka Cries Over Drishyam 3 Note as Film Hits Rs 175 Crore
Shivaleeka Oberoi teared up at husband Abhishek Pathak's Drishyam 3 end-credit note, as the film crossed Rs 175 crore in India.

There is a moment in Drishyam 3: The Conclusion that does not belong to the plot, and it has left actor Shivaleeka Oberoi wiping away tears in a theatre.
A personal thank-you tucked into the credits
While watching the film on the big screen, Oberoi began recording as the end credits rolled. Her husband, director Abhishek Pathak, had included a personal note thanking her for the support behind his journey. When she saw it, the moment caught up with her.
“I teared up when I saw this on the big screen,” she wrote.
She added that messages from friends and followers showed she was not the only one who found the gesture special. The Khuda Hafiz actor then wrote about the sacrifices, hard days and time apart during the making of the film.
Why the moment hit differently
The tears carry extra weight because of where the couple are in life. Oberoi and Pathak welcomed their first child, daughter Aarika, in April. In her post, she said she sometimes looks at Aarika and thinks about how lucky she will one day feel knowing her father directed Drishyam.
That blend of new parenthood, a long shoot and a public release made the end-credit note feel less like a formality and more like a private milestone shown in a packed cinema hall. End credits are usually where audiences reach for their phones; here, Pathak used those minutes for something personal, and Oberoi’s reaction turned that choice into a widely shared fan moment.
Drishyam 3 is also running up the numbers
The film’s emotional note arrives as the box office keeps climbing. The Ajay Devgn-starrer released on October 2 and crossed the Rs 175 crore mark in India in three days. It is now closing in on the Rs 200 crore domestic milestone, while its global run has crossed Rs 270 crore.
- Rs 175 crore: domestic collection in the first three days
- Rs 270 crore: global running total so far
- October 2: the theatrical release date
Pathak has been praised for bringing the trilogy to a satisfying conclusion. For Oberoi, the most rewarding part may not be the box-office score but watching an audience celebrate the work she saw up close.
Wait for the credits
For fans still planning to watch the film, the note is a small reason to stay in your seat until the credits end. It is not a plot reveal, but a glimpse of the personal cost and support behind a major franchise finale—one that has now become a talking point in its own right.
