Tiger Shroff firing: 15 police teams track suspects to Gujarat
A Sunday evening attack on Tiger Shroff's car in Juhu has left Mumbai Police hunting three suspects across Gujarat, with 15 special teams on the case.

Mumbai Police have placed additional security outside Salman Khan’s Bandra residence after a shooting in Juhu on Sunday evening left Tiger Shroff’s driver injured and the actor with minor injuries from glass and gunpowder.
The attack happened around 7 pm as Tiger Shroff was leaving a football club. Police say three unidentified men on a motorcycle opened fire at his vehicle. The actor did not sustain direct gunshot wounds, but his driver was hurt. Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg confirmed the vehicle was targeted as Tiger was leaving the club, according to reports.
The manhunt moves to Gujarat
The Mumbai Police Crime Branch has widened its investigation beyond the city. Investigators believe the suspects had tracked Tiger Shroff’s movements and may have known about his regular Sunday visits to the football ground, reports say.
After the shooting, the men reportedly fled along SV Road through Vile Parle and Andheri, abandoned their motorcycle near Andheri West railway station, and boarded a train toward Borivali. Police suspect they later crossed into Gujarat, and three to four Crime Branch teams are carrying out raids at suspected locations.
- FIR registered against three unidentified persons under Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, plus Sections 3 and 25 of the Arms Act.
- 15 special Mumbai Police teams formed to pursue the case.
- Additional security put in place outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra.
- Suspects reportedly abandoned a motorcycle near Andheri West station and took a train toward Borivali.
- Police have extended the search to Gujarat.
A shaken film industry
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees has condemned the attack and asked for improved security for Tiger Shroff and his family. The organisation said this is the second such incident involving a prominent film personality, after the earlier firing case around filmmaker Rohit Shetty. FWICE called the recurrence ‘a matter of grave concern’ and demanded immediate action.
Reports said the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility in a social media post hours after the shooting. Police are still working to identify the suspects and establish the full circumstances behind the attack.
Political leaders step in
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Tiger Shroff’s home on Sunday night and met the actor and his mother, Ayesha Shroff. Shinde told reporters that Tiger had injuries to his left hand from gunpowder and glass fragments, and that the family was shaken. “Strict action will be taken, and threats against public figures will not be tolerated,” he said.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also spoke to the Mumbai Police Commissioner and directed an immediate investigation, reports said.
What happens next
For fans, the immediate task is patience. The police have moved quickly to secure high-profile residences and stretch the search across state lines, but identification of the three suspects will take time. Avoid amplifying unverified social media posts about gang involvement until police confirm the details. The next credible update is likely to come from the Crime Branch rather than online chatter.
