Tiger Shroff shooting: 15 police teams hunt Juhu attackers

Actor unhurt but driver and bystander injured; Bishnoi-linked Facebook post claims the attack and threatens Salman Khan collaborators.

Tiger Shroff firing: 15 police teams hunt Juhu attackers

Tiger Shroff had a narrow escape on Sunday evening after unidentified assailants opened fire at his BMW near Pushpa Park in Mumbai’s Juhu. Three rounds were fired; the actor was unhurt, but his driver and a bystander were injured and admitted to hospital.

DCP Mohit Garg said the driver suffered an injury to his left hand and is out of danger. Jackie Shroff’s team told India Today succinctly, “Tiger is okay.”

Anger and alarm in the film industry

Ranvir Shorey called the attack “shocking, and disgusting,” tagging Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff and the Mumbai Police, and demanding, “No mercy for the perpetrators.” Filmmaker Rahul Dholakia went further, posting on X, “What kind of Law and order is this??” and pressing Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to answer for public safety in Juhu.

What police and a gang-linked post say

Mumbai Police have widened the investigation to 15 specialised teams, scanning CCTV and tracking the attackers. One person has been taken into custody in Santacruz for questioning.

After the firing, a Facebook post issued in the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility. Gangsters Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu said the attack was meant for Tiger because he ignored earlier warnings against working with Salman Khan. The post also issued fresh threats against people collaborating with Salman Khan; police are still verifying its authenticity.

A pattern Bollywood cannot ignore

This is not the first time the Bishnoi name has surfaced around threats or attacks linked to the film industry. Previous incidents include:

  • Firing outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments
  • An incident at Rohit Shetty’s residence
  • An attack on Kapil Sharma’s restaurant in British Columbia, Canada

For fans, the fear is simple: if a star’s car can be shot at in Juhu, no film family feels completely safe. For the industry, it means security, schedules and public appearances will be discussed with more caution until the police close this case.

What fans should do right now

Avoid amplifying unverified posts that claim responsibility or issue new threats. Wait for the Mumbai Police to confirm the facts, and let the investigation identify the actual attackers rather than relying on social media names. Sharing speculation can spread more panic than clarity.
