One school, one long PTA record

Saif Ali Khan has found an unusual way to mark time: the parent-teacher meeting. Appearing with Kareena Kapoor Khan on The Great Indian Kapil Show, he said his association with the same school began when he was 20 and is still going at 55.

He told host Kapil Sharma that his four children have attended the school at different ages. His first PTA meeting there came at 20, he said, and he is still turning up at 55. The teachers have changed; Saif, in his own words, is “still the same.”

Kareena’s quick retort

Kapil turned the timeline into a joke, telling Saif it was a blessing to have a child every decade. When Archana Puran Singh pointed out that another decade was approaching, Kareena delivered the line that closed the topic: “Yes, we are, but not with me.” Saif laughed as the studio joined in.
