Rashmika’s Mysaa drops first song promo O Mysaa Re
The first single from Rashmika Mandanna’s period action thriller Mysaa, O Mysaa Re, gets a fiery silhouette-led promo before its November 2 release.

Rashmika Mandanna’s Mysaa is starting to reveal its sonic identity. Ahead of the film’s November 27 theatrical release, the team has shared a short promo for the first single, O Mysaa Re, giving fans an early glimpse of the world the film is building.
What the first promo shows
The visual is built around silhouettes, fire and movement, and the track sounds designed for scale. Jakes Bejoy, who composed the film’s background score and earned attention with the teaser, is behind the song. The full single arrives on November 2.
According to the makers, the number leans into the film’s grounded, earthy setting rather than chasing a glossy, polished mood. That is a useful signal for a period action drama rooted in tribal territories.
The job this song has to do
Mysaa is being described as the first female-led action spectacle aimed at a pan-India audience. Rashmika plays a Gond woman in what the team has called one of her most intense and emotional parts, with a father-daughter story running through the action.
The teaser already showed why the stakes are personal: her character reflects on being exhausted and having lost, then chooses to fight. It also included an underwater bout where she takes on attackers with a sickle.
In that context, O Mysaa Re is not a detour from the film’s action. It is another entry point into its world, meant to make the setting feel lived-in and raise the emotional temperature before the film opens.
Why first singles matter for a pan-India release
For a film releasing in multiple languages, a first single is often the first piece of the story that travels beyond the teaser’s core fan base. A strong hook can pull in listeners who have not yet seen the teaser, and a rooted, regional sound can signal authenticity before the film has to explain its setting. With Jakes Bejoy fresh off a well-received teaser score, the song has a chance to extend that moment rather than reset it.
What to keep an eye on
- Full song: O Mysaa Re releases on November 2, 2026.
- Film release: Mysaa opens in multiple languages on November 27, 2026.
- Team: Directed by Rawindra Pulle; also featuring Eshwari Rao, Guru Somasundaram and Rao Ramesh.
Rashmika’s last big-screen outing, Ranabaali with Vijay Deverakonda, arrived with considerable hype but an underwhelming box-office response. That puts a little extra weight on Mysaa, and on this first single as the campaign’s first big emotional beat.
Fans can judge for themselves when O Mysaa Re drops in full on November 2.
