The Traitors Telugu Review: Shravya Turns Traitor, Final Six Set
Shravya Varma flips from top Innocent to Traitor as The Traitors Telugu enters its finale week with six players and a Rs 42.77 lakh prize pot.

The Telugu adaptation of The Traitors is heading into its finale week, and the latest three episodes on Amazon Prime Video just delivered the season’s biggest identity switch. Shravya Varma, the Innocents’ sharpest detective, is now a Traitor. Teja Sajja’s reality battleground, streaming since October 30, has only six players left, and the balance has tilted firmly toward the hidden pair.
Ashika’s last stand
After Vishnu Oi and Rahat Achanta were eliminated, Ashika Padukone was the only Traitor left. She recruits Sweekar Agasthi to strengthen her side; he has mostly stayed quiet, but his reads on the game have been strong.
Episode seven’s Museum of Riddles mission carries a Rs 9 lakh prize, and the players secure Rs 7.2 lakh. Mouneesha Chowdary stands out, while Shravya earns a shield that keeps her safe from the midnight murder. Shreedevi Chowdary struggles with Telugu riddles, and the Round of Doubt eliminates her. Pragathi Mahavadi’s murder later removes one of the Innocents’ stronger voices.
Shravya goes after Ashika, then flips
Episode eight’s psychological mission is worth Rs 9 lakh, but the group manages only Rs 4 lakh after answering two of six questions correctly; the total pot reaches Rs 42.77 lakh. Convinced Ashika is a Traitor, Shravya steers the vote her way. Ashika exits and confirms she was the OG Traitor.
Then Sweekar, the only Traitor left, recruits Shravya. It is a clever move: she already knows how Innocents think and holds their trust. Her challenge is to keep her behaviour unchanged, because any shift in attitude or body language could expose her.
Where the endgame stands
Episode nine begins with the midnight murder of Mouneesha, another setback for the Innocents. In the bluffing mission, Sweekar secures a dagger for an extra vote. Pranav, given a chance to swap, picks Shravya’s gold instead – a choice that becomes a talking point.
- Final six: Shravya, Sweekar, Varsha, Pranav, Manjunath and Dhanunjaya.
- Traitors: Shravya and Sweekar.
- Innocents: Varsha, Pranav, Manjunath and Dhanunjaya.
- Prize pot: Rs 42.77 lakh.
- Review rating: 3/5.
Varsha looks like the Innocents’ best shot, and Manjunath needs to support her. Dhanunjaya has not converted his observations into decisions, and Pranav needs to get more involved in discussions.
Worth watching before the finale?
These episodes make the game far more unpredictable, even if the missions do not quite match the energy of episodes four to six. The hosting is adequate rather than electric. Still, the Shravya-Sweekar pairing is a strong reason to catch up before next week’s grand finale.
