Tiger Shroff firing case: 10 held, Manoj wants example

Manoj Bajpayee wants the Tiger Shroff firing probe to end fast and set an example as police make new arrests and investigate an alleged gangster link.

Tiger Shroff firing case: 10 held, Manoj wants example

Manoj Bajpayee has added his voice to the Tiger Shroff firing case, asking investigators to finish the probe quickly and ensure those responsible face real consequences. His comments arrive as the case enters a more serious legal phase, with more arrests and a widening investigation.

A scary moment for the industry

Speaking to ANI, Bajpayee said the attack was frightening because it did not look like a gang war, yet shots were fired from an unknown location. He called the incident ‘really scary’ and said the happiest part was that Tiger Shroff is safe and his driver is recovering slowly.

For fans, that distinction matters. The Juhu shooting on 18 October turned a routine drive into a security emergency, and Bajpayee’s point is that if a shot can come from who knows where, the fear is not limited to one actor.

Where the police probe stands

Mumbai Police have picked up seven more people from Haryana, taking the total number of arrests to 10. Two women are among the accused, and the seven are expected to be brought to Mumbai for further legal steps.

Earlier, the Anti-Extortion Cell produced three accused before the Esplanade Court in Mumbai. They had been brought from Kota in Rajasthan at around 3 am and were produced after medical checks. The court sent all three to police custody until 31 October.

Investigators are now looking into:

  • Alleged links between the accused and gangster Anil Pandit
  • How the weapon reached Mumbai
  • Whether encrypted communication was used to plan the attack
  • How the suspects tried to escape after the shooting

Why this matters for fans

On 18 October, three men on a motorcycle fired at Tiger Shroff’s car in Juhu. The actor escaped unhurt, but his driver and a passer-by were injured. Bajpayee’s reaction shifts the conversation from one star’s safety to a larger question: what example will be set?

In an industry built on public appearances, security is part of the show. When an attack happens and the response is visible and firm, it sends a message beyond the courtroom. When it does not, the fear lingers longer than the headlines.

What happens next

The seven suspects brought from Haryana are the latest sign that the probe is widening fast. Police are treating the case as more than an isolated attack: the focus on an alleged gangster link and possible encrypted planning suggests they want the full chain, from the motorcycle to the mastermind.

For now, the industry’s eyes are on the legal process. Bajpayee’s appeal may be the closest thing to a public benchmark. If the case ends with a clear, visible result, it may restore some confidence in star security. If it does not, the anxiety he described will outlast the case.
