Titans Box Office Day 5: Rs 21 Lakh Monday, Total Rs 2.16 Cr

Jayasurya and Vinayakan's Titans collects Rs 21 lakh on Day 5, a 59.6% drop from Sunday; five-day India net hits Rs 2.16 crore.

Titans Day 5: Rs 21 Lakh, Total India Net Rs 2.16 Crore

Jayasurya and Vinayakan’s Malayalam heist thriller Titans is facing its first true weekday test. After a Rs 52 lakh Sunday, the film collected Rs 21 lakh net on Monday, October 26, according to Sacnilk data cited by The Times of India. Its five-day India net stands at Rs 2.16 crore, with India gross at Rs 2.50 crore.

Five-day scoreboard

The film opened on October 22 at Rs 65 lakh, but the run has been uneven since.

  • Opening day, October 22: Rs 65 lakh
  • Friday: Rs 35 lakh
  • Saturday: Rs 43 lakh
  • Sunday: Rs 52 lakh
  • Monday, October 26: Rs 21 lakh

Monday’s Rs 21 lakh is the lowest single-day total of the opening stretch and a 59.6% drop from Sunday.

Why the first Monday matters

A film’s first Monday signals how far word of mouth can carry it beyond the opening weekend. For Titans, the Friday drop to Rs 35 lakh already suggested a front-loaded start. Saturday and Sunday recovered to Rs 43 lakh and Rs 52 lakh, but Monday pulled the trend back down. The film still played 626 shows, so the issue is not a shrinking screen count; it is the thin occupancy inside those shows.

Occupancy tells its own story

The Malayalam version registered 11.42% overall occupancy on Monday. Morning shows were quiet at 2.91%, afternoon improved to 10.64%, evening reached 11.73%, and night shows were the strongest at 15%. The day added 16,993 admissions, taking total footfalls across the theatrical run to 164,543.

Night shows leading is a small positive. It suggests the film is drawing an audience that prefers final screenings, but the overall figure is still low for a title that needs word of mouth to build.

The film behind the numbers

Titans is set around a Fort Kochi heist. Antony Yakuza and his roommate Anwar plan a final operation to earn respect, only to be pulled into a more complicated mix of crime, mystery and fantasy. Alongside Jayasurya and Vinayakan, the cast includes Nihal Nizam, Sunny Wayne, Indrans, Suresh Krishna, Adam Sabiq, Manikandan Achari and Manohari Joy.

For fans of the lead pair after Aadu 3, the bigger question is whether Titans can hold screens into its second weekend. A first-Monday fall is common, but the scale of this drop means evening and night audiences will be critical.

Box office totals are compiled from public and industry sources and may change as official data is updated. The next number to watch is whether Titans can beat its Sunday mark of Rs 52 lakh when the second weekend begins.
