Aadarsha Kutumbam Hits Rs 75 Crore Worldwide in 3 Days
Venkatesh's family entertainer crosses Rs 75 crore worldwide in three days on the back of a patient marketing campaign and strong word of mouth.

Venkatesh’s latest Telugu family entertainer has started with serious box-office momentum. Released on October 30, Aadarsha Kutumbam has reportedly crossed Rs 75 crore worldwide within its first three days, prompting the makers to declare the film a blockbuster.
“The BLOCKBUSTER family entertainer continues to win hearts and receive phenomenal love from audiences everywhere!” the makers said in a statement.
Why the opening worked
Director Trivikram Srinivas and the team did not rush the film’s marketing. They introduced characters one by one, beginning with Venkatesh’s Chitti Babu, then followed with a teaser and a well-received trailer. The title’s wordplay — House No: 47 – AK 47 — gave audiences one more reason to talk about the film before release.
- Patient promotion: Character reveals built curiosity without giving away the plot.
- Venkatesh’s casting: The actor is known for family stories, so Chitti Babu felt like a natural fit.
- Genre mix: The film blends domestic humour and crime elements while keeping the family at the centre.
At the pre-release event, Trivikram spoke about his belief in the family system and described Chitti Babu as an ordinary family man determined to protect the people close to him. He said Venkatesh was the natural choice, given the actor’s long strength in family-oriented stories.
What audiences are enjoying
Viewers have pointed to Satya’s comedy track, especially his interrogation scene with Nara Rohith, as a highlight. Thaman’s background score is also earning praise for giving the crime sequences a contemporary edge.
Alongside Venkatesh, Srinidhi Shetty plays Swarna, while Udaybir Sandhu appears as a dacoit and Rao Ramesh and Sachin Khedekar play police officers. That mix of domestic humour and crime has helped the film feel like more than a routine family drama.
The bigger picture for the team
Venkatesh is now looking ahead to January 12 Vidudala, directed by Anil Ravipudi and scheduled for Sankranthi 2027. Trivikram, meanwhile, is attached to direct Jr NTR in a project tentatively titled God of War.
For Hindi film fans, the opening is a reminder that the southern industries continue to find commercial success with clearly defined audiences. A family entertainer that knows its promise, sells it patiently, and delivers on the lighter moments can still cut through a crowded release calendar.
