Aditi Govitrikar recalls SRK’s Paheli warmth and Mismatched S4

Aditi Govitrikar is looking back at a film set that still feels like a reference point. In a new conversation with ETimes, the actor and wellness professional opened up about Paheli, her comedy memories from De Dana Dan, and where Mismatched Season 4 is headed.

What stayed with her from Paheli

For Aditi, Paheli was not just a folklore-driven story but a lesson in how a lead actor can shape a room. She described Shah Rukh Khan as extraordinarily professional and warm, saying that despite his stardom he made everyone on set feel comfortable and valued. Rani Mukerji, she added, was equally gracious and focused.

The larger takeaway, Aditi said, was how much care went into every frame. She called the experience ‘a masterclass in filmmaking.’

Comedy, precision, and a career-long habit

Her memories of De Dana Dan are lighter but no less instructive. Working with Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Katrina Kaif, she saw how much precision sits behind effortless comedy. Akshay’s energy was infectious and Paresh ji’s timing worked even off camera, she said.

There is a common thread across the big stars she has observed, Aditi explained: they arrive prepared, stay disciplined, and remain humble. That consistency, she said, has shaped her work beyond acting—as a doctor, psychologist, wellness coach and entrepreneur.

• Paheli: SRK and Rani set a collaborative, detail-driven tone.
• De Dana Dan: comedy required precision, not just star power.
• Mismatched S4: more character depth, streaming on Netflix, date TBA.

Mismatched Season 4: deeper, but still under wraps

For fans waiting on Mismatched, the update is carefully measured. Aditi said her character will show ‘more depth and evolution,’ and the new season will explore relationships, personal growth, and the challenges of navigating different life stages. There is no premiere date yet; the show will stream on Netflix.

Aditi has stayed visible across formats. She was recently seen in the TV series Life Hill Gayi, and her film credits include Koi Jaane Na, which released in 2021. Mismatched Season 4 is next on her slate, though the makers have not locked a premiere date.

Why this resonates now

In an industry that often talks about stardom, Aditi’s account shifts the focus to set culture. That is the part fans rarely see: how a superstar’s behavior can either raise the room or make it tense. Her comments are also a timely reminder before Mismatched returns—she is playing characters across generations, and audiences are being asked to follow emotional arcs rather than just plot twists.
