Drishyam 3 day 27 worldwide gross: Rs 577.56 crore

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion earned Rs 90 lakh net on day 27, a 28% dip, but worldwide gross is now Rs 577.56 crore. A Rs 600 crore finish is in sight.

Drishyam 3 reaches Rs 577.56 crore worldwide

‘Drishyam 3: The Conclusion’ is in the final stretch of its theatrical run, and the story is no longer about whether it will be a hit but how high it can go. Day 27 brought a quieter Wednesday: the Ajay Devgn and Tabu thriller collected Rs 90 lakh net in India across 3,169 shows, a 28% dip from Tuesday’s Rs 1.25 crore.

That kind of weekday softening is normal for a film entering its fourth week. What is unusual is the total sitting behind it. The film’s worldwide gross has now climbed to Rs 577.56 crore, according to the latest trade figures.

The Rs 600 crore question

With worldwide earnings at Rs 577.56 crore, the film needs another Rs 22.44 crore to breach the Rs 600 crore mark. Domestic net collection stands at an estimated Rs 372.10 crore, with India gross at Rs 445.66 crore and overseas gross at Rs 131.90 crore.

  • Opening week: Rs 245.50 crore
  • Second week: Rs 87.50 crore
  • Third week: Rs 28.85 crore
  • Current worldwide gross: Rs 577.56 crore

How the week played out

The weekend is doing the heavy lifting. Sunday was the strongest of the six reported days, while Wednesday occupancy told a more muted story: 8.64% overall, with morning shows at 7%, afternoon at 8.50%, and evening shows at 10.42%.

Why this milestone matters

The film has reportedly moved past ‘Singham Again’ and ‘Tanhaji’ to become Ajay Devgn’s highest-grossing release. That gives the milestone extra weight for fans: this is not just a franchise high, but a career-best number for one of Bollywood’s most bankable stars.

The Drishyam franchise has always run on fan trust rather than spectacle. Its slow-burn story of Vijay Salgaonkar’s alibis and Meera Deshmukh’s return for revenge has given the third chapter enough goodwill to keep selling tickets a month after release.

The calendar may also help. With no major Hindi release until ‘Ramayana’ on November 5, the thriller has a clear window to collect without direct competition. Whether it uses that window will come down to how weekday audiences turn up.

Reading the numbers like a trade analyst

Box office reports often move between net and gross figures. Net refers to collections after tax adjustments at the domestic level, while gross includes taxes and overseas earnings. That is why the domestic net figure of Rs 372.10 crore sits below the India gross of Rs 445.66 crore.

What to watch next

The next few days matter. If weekday collections hold near the Rs 1 crore mark and the weekend delivers one more push, the Rs 600 crore target is within reach. If weekdays slide further, the film will have to lean more heavily on the November 5 window.
