Ramayana showreel reveals Brahma AI and a wider universe

The Vision of Ramayana unpacks Brahma AI, franchise plans and a hidden Hanuman ahead of the film's November 5, 2026 release.

Ramayana showreel reveals Brahma AI and a wider universe

The team behind Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana has released a new showreel called The Vision of Ramayana, and it plays less like a teaser than a franchise pitch. The footage walks through the scale of the mythological epic, the action design, the costumes, the music and the people behind it, while laying out where the makers want the property to go next.

A universe, not just a film

The reel opens by showing how the Ramayana lives across continents, art and architecture, before positioning Namit Malhotra’s version as a bold retelling for a new generation. The makers say the films are only the beginning.

  • Origin films and spinoffs
  • Television shows and animated films
  • Video games and merchandise
  • Theme parks

Brahma AI and the multilingual play

One of the clearest signals is Brahma AI, an in-house software from Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios. It is designed to lip-sync dialogue perfectly across multiple versions of the film, which matters for an epic that will need to feel natural in several languages at once.

The showreel also spotlights large action sequences supervised by Hollywood technicians, close attention to costumes and music sessions, and the work of thousands of people behind the scenes.

The face they are still hiding

The behind-the-scenes clips introduce much of the cast, but the team has once again kept Sunny Deol’s Hanuman out of the frame. That is a deliberate choice: the reveal stays in reserve while the showreel sells scale, craft and technology.

The larger shift

What makes the showreel notable is that it is selling infrastructure, not just a single movie. By naming Brahma AI and mapping future formats, the team is asking audiences to treat Ramayana as an ongoing world rather than a one-time event. That is the same logic global studios use for big properties, and it raises the stakes for the film’s opening day.

Why it matters for fans

Ramayana, also starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi, is set for cinemas on November 5, 2026. The new showreel frames that date as the start of something longer, not the finish line. For Hindi film fans, the promise is a mythological story treated with the scale and planning of a global tentpole.
