Drishyam 3 adds Rs 26.50 cr on day 9, an 82.8% jump
Drishyam 3: The Conclusion added Rs 26.50 crore net on day nine, an 82.8% jump over Friday, taking India net to Rs 286.50 crore. Here's the box-office break-up.

Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is not just holding in its second weekend—it is accelerating. On its second Saturday, October 10, the Hindi crime thriller collected Rs 26.50 crore net in India, as per Sacnilk data cited by The Times of India. The domestic net total now stands at Rs 286.50 crore after nine days.
The Saturday number is the headline because it is not a flat hold. It is 82.8% higher than the Rs 14.50 crore the film collected on Friday, and it came from 14,903 shows, a small step up from Friday’s 14,583 shows.
Where Drishyam 3 stands after day 9
- Day 9 net collection: Rs 26.50 crore
- India net total: Rs 286.50 crore
- Worldwide gross: Rs 446.80 crore
- Day 9 footfalls: 1,057,150, taking cumulative footfalls to 11,757,226
- Peak occupancy: 46.23% in night shows for the Hindi 2D version
The worldwide number splits into Rs 343.80 crore domestic gross and Rs 103 crore overseas gross. The first week had already contributed Rs 245.50 crore net, so the second Saturday is adding a real cushion rather than a small tail.
Audiences are choosing the late shows
The occupancy pattern shows where the demand is. After a second Friday with overall occupancy around 17%, the second Saturday’s supplied box-office data put overall occupancy at 29.1%. The Hindi 2D version recorded 33.46% across the day, with a steady climb: morning shows at 14.92%, afternoon at 32.46%, evening at 40.23%, and night shows peaking at 46.23%.
That late-show strength matters because it signals working audiences and family groups are turning up after the day winds down, which often translates into stronger holds over the rest of the weekend.
An original Hindi chapter helps the franchise
Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is the third movie in the franchise, but this Hindi instalment has an original storyline. Unlike its predecessors, it is not narratively connected to Jeethu Joseph’s Malayalam original starring Mohanlal. Alongside Ajay Devgn and Tabu, the cast includes Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat, Rajat Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav.
That original plot may be doing real work at the box office: it frees the film from direct comparison with the Malayalam version and gives audiences a reason to return for something they have not already seen.
What to watch next
The second Sunday will show whether the Saturday surge is a one-day spike or a genuine weekend trend. Monday’s number will then reveal how deep the film’s theatrical run can go. As with all Sacnilk-sourced figures, the totals remain approximate and could change when official studio data is updated.
For Bollywood fans, the simple takeaway is that Drishyam 3 is not behaving like a film that is done—it is behaving like one that is still finding its audience.
