Drishyam 3 crosses ₹584 crore worldwide on Day 31

Day 31 took Drishyam 3 past ₹584.74 crore worldwide, more than five times its ₹110 crore budget, after adding ₹1.75 crore on Sunday.

Drishyam 3 crosses ₹584 crore worldwide

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has crossed a fresh worldwide milestone in its fifth weekend, proving a well-built thriller can keep audiences returning long after the opening rush.

On Sunday, November 1 — Day 31 of its run — the film added ₹1.75 crore to its India net total, a 9.4% improvement over Saturday’s ₹1.60 crore. The three-day weekend brought in ₹4.35 crore net in India, with Sunday contributing the highest share.

The numbers behind the milestone

According to trade figures collated by Sacnilk, the third Drishyam film has now reached:

  • India net: ₹377.35 crore
  • India gross: ₹451.94 crore
  • Overseas gross: ₹132.80 crore
  • Worldwide gross: ₹584.74 crore

The film was still playing across 3,089 shows on Sunday, and overseas markets added ₹25 lakh on Day 31 alone. The daily number is small, but it shows the cumulative total keeps inching forward instead of collapsing.

A franchise that compounds

Opening week did the heavy lifting with ₹245.50 crore net in India. Week two added ₹87.50 crore, week three ₹28.85 crore, and week four ₹11.15 crore. In its fifth weekend, the film added another ₹4.35 crore.

That taper is normal. What stands out is that Drishyam 3 has now collected more than five times its reported ₹110 crore production budget, which trade estimates say includes promotional expenses and additional salary costs. It is a bigger spend than Drishyam 2‘s ₹90 crore production budget and the original Drishyam‘s ₹65 crore budget.

What the audience is really watching

The plot keeps Vijay Salgaonkar on the defensive. Years after evading the law, he faces a different threat: Meera Deshmukh returns seeking revenge, and a new Crime Branch officer complicates the investigation. The tension remains a family man trying to protect his own while his psychological defences are tested.

That emotional core, not just the mystery, is why the franchise continues to earn beyond opening week. Fans return for the moral tightrope as much as the twist.

With Ramayana set to enter theatres, Drishyam 3 is probably in its final stretch. The ₹584.74 crore worldwide gross may not move far from here, but the milestone has already given the franchise its biggest commercial win to date.
