Drishyam 3 hits Rs 348.14 crore India net on Day 18

Ajay Devgn's thriller has crossed Rs 538 crore gross worldwide and is less than Rs 2 crore from the Rs 350 crore India net mark after Day 18 early tracking.

Drishyam 3 hits Rs 348.14 crore India net on Day 18

Fourth Monday, still adding

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has turned its last chapter into a long-distance sprint. By early Monday on Day 18, the Abhishek Pathak-directed thriller had added Rs 0.79 crore net, taking its India net total to Rs 348.14 crore, according to early tracking shared by Sacnilk. The same update put the India gross at Rs 417.20 crore.

With the film running across 2,076 shows through the day, the final Day 18 number and fresh overseas figures could push the milestones a little further before the next morning’s update.

Where the collections stand

The domestic run has been front-loaded but steady. Week 1 delivered Rs 245.50 crore net, and week 2 added Rs 87.50 crore. The third weekend climbed again:

  • Friday, Day 15: Rs 3.10 crore
  • Saturday, Day 16: Rs 5.00 crore
  • Sunday, Day 17: Rs 6.25 crore
  • Monday, Day 18, so far: Rs 0.79 crore, taking the India net to Rs 348.14 crore

Overseas has been a strong second engine. Week 1 brought Rs 89 crore gross, led by Rs 18.50 crore on Day 1, Rs 23 crore on Day 2 and Rs 21 crore on Day 3. Week 2 added Rs 27 crore. With the third-weekend additions, the overseas gross reached Rs 122 crore by Day 17. Combined with the India gross, the worldwide total crossed Rs 538 crore gross, with Rs 550 crore now in view.

Why a fourth Monday still matters

For most films, the fourth Monday is where collections settle into low single digits. A 150-minute thriller still drawing over half a crore before the day’s final show counts points to sustained word of mouth and the pull of a franchise farewell. The CBFC has certified the film UA 16+, and its runtime has not stopped repeat audiences from turning up for Vijay Salgaonkar’s endgame.

The final word on the Salgaonkar story

This is not just another sequel holding well. The film closes the long battle between the Salgaonkar family and the police. Ajay Devgn’s Vijay once again leans on his film-inspired thinking to protect his family as the investigation tightens. Tabu returns as Meera Deshmukh, Rajat Kapoor as Mahesh Deshmukh, with Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj in key roles.

Director Abhishek Pathak has made the ending explicit: there will be no fourth installment. That makes every additional crore feel like a punctuation mark on one of Hindi cinema’s most durable modern thrillers.

What to watch next

Two targets are now close. The first is the Rs 350 crore India net mark; on early Monday numbers, the film is less than Rs 2 crore away. The second is Rs 550 crore worldwide gross, which would give the finale a crisp global legacy. The weekday holds across the current calendar will decide how fast it crosses both lines.
